As Mac is basically used by the professionals and Adobe and Apple’s softwares are the standard but there was a demanding market for Mac version of Sound Forge Pro, Sony introduced Sound Forge Pro Mac in Mid 2012. We wrote the practical history of the beautiful software. This article does not tells about any way to circumvent the licensing process of Past or Existing versions of Sound Forge Pro Mac or Windows version. After Sony acquired Sound Forge Pro, they made the Licensing method most difficult to circumvent. Unofficially, despite Sonic Foundry Sound Forge was great and popular, Sonic Foundry failed to market it to the full partially for the reason that Sonic Foundry Sound Forge was very easy to circumvent the paid licensing system from limited trial edition. Sony in 2009 acquired Sound Forge (for advanced audio editing), ACID (for creation of loop based music) and Vegas Video (for video editing). Sonic Foundry was the original developer of Sound Forge and was named Sonic Foundry Sound Forge. Audio processing quality is superb and it its fine to listen to music. I don’t have a problem with this process when loading a few test clips, and then I send the sound to my iMac system to iMovie or Final Cut Pro.Sound Forge Pro Mac is basically an advanced sound software like its brother for Windows PC. There are no movie preview windows, but audio can be exported to your regular video editing environment. You simply drag and drop a video file to SFPM3, and the sound is automatically extracted and displayed in the waveform view.
Oh, and if you’re a video editor that requires a dedicated audio editor to correct your audio content, SFPM3 can now extract audio from a range of video file formats, including XAVC, XDCAM, and AVCHD.
This process creates an audio file in M4A format so that you can perform A / B listening tests and modify your master’s style processing to best fit the template. On a similar front, the Tools menu in SFPM3 now includes iTunes auditing options, so you can mimic what your Master audio sounds for iTunes after going through Apple’s encryption process. The Plug-In Chain panel allows you to apply a set of plugins to any free audio file, and SFPM3 seems to be happy to work with a number of third-party plugins as well as its own internal plugins.
